If you have received a SMS (Short Messaging Service or text message) from either of the following senders, you can rest assured knowing it is a legitimate message from the team here at AXA.

• AXA – These SMS messages are regarding the policies or products you hold with us
• +447860019478 – These messages are marketing messages from AXA regarding products you may be interested in, or a quote you’ve already started

There are two scenarios where AXA will reach out via SMS message.

1. Important communications about your policy with us

If we need to communicate an important message to our customers about their policy or our products, then we’ll send a service SMS.

In these cases, you will receive a message from a sender listed as ‘AXA’.

You cannot respond or opt out as we need to maintain the ability to communicate important messages to our customers.

2. Marketing communications

Sometimes, if we think it will be beneficial, we may send you information about our products. Or, if you’ve gotten a quote with us, we may send you a quote follow up message.

In these cases, you will receive a message from a sender with the number +447860019478*.

You can opt out of these marketing messages. 

You cannot opt out of our standard service messages. However, if you would like to stop receiving our marketing SMS communications, opting out is easy.

If you want to opt-out, all you have to do is reply to the message with the word ‘STOP’.

This will mean you are opted out of all future SMS marketing messages from AXA.
