How to get AXA’s MultiCar Insurance
If there’s already a car insured at your home with AXA, it’s easy to get 15% off with our MultiCar Insurance, just follow these steps:
- Get a new car insurance quote direct from AXA.
- When asked if another car at your home address is already insured with AXA, answer “Yes” and let us know the car’s number plate.
- Complete the quote and you’ll get 15% off the additional car1.
What do I get with AXA MultiCar Insurance?
If AXA already insures a car at your home, you can get a 15% discount for other cars registered to the same address. Each policy will have its own renewal date and policy documents; this helps keep things simple, so you don't need to worry about sharing the same certificate or renewal dates.

And, to make it easy to manage your car insurance, each policyholder will have their own online account and policy documents.
Frequently Asked Questions
Unlike a multicar policy, AXA MultiCar is a discount applied to a second policy. To be eligible to drive a car insured on either policy, you must either be the policyholder or a named driver.
You can add named drivers to your policy via your online account.
AXA car insurance policies provide cover for 12 months as standard. Any policies with a multicar discount applied will run for the duration of the 12 months, regardless of the renewal date of any other policy at the same address.
To benefit from a multicar discount all cars need to be registered at the same address.
Yes, if you own two cars which are registered at the same address you could insure them both with AXA – and, once we cover one of them, you can benefit from the multicar insurance discount on the second car.
If you already insure a car with us, you will be eligible for a discount on any subsequent insurance policies at the same address. This means any subsequent insurance policies will be cheaper than if you insured them separately.
Plus, we could help you use your No Claims Discount (NCD) on both cars, to save you even more.
To be eligible for our MultiCar discount, you must already insure a car with AXA. So if you want to insure two cars and benefit from a multicar discount, all you need to do is take out your first policy with AXA, and you can apply the discount to the second policy. To get a quote, all you need is:
- Details of the car including registration, make and model
- Details of all drivers including name, date of birth, plus details of any insurance claims and driving convictions
