Definition
A document that provides proof that the policyholder named on the card has the legal minimum insurance requirement of the country being visited.

Explanation
The Green Card system is operated by certain countries to make it easier and safer for motor travel between them.

The Card itself simply provides clear and recognisable proof that the insured named on the card has the minimum insurance at least. As of 2nd August 2021, you’ll no longer need a green card for most countries in the EU and EEA. You’ll still need a green card if you’re travelling in Moldova, Montenegro and North Macedonia.

The system is operated by the Economic Commission for Europe and is administered by each country that subscribes to the system.

Definition
An individual who is leaving a company medical insurance policy.

Explanation
Used when talking about medical insurance provided by a company for its employees.

A typical example of a group leaver is someone who is a member of a company scheme because they're employed by an employer who provides medical insurance as a benefit. If the employee leaves to work for another company, they can no longer be a member of that scheme. If their new company does not provide health cover, AXA is able to provide the Group Leaver with medical insurance on comparable terms. The Group Leaver can choose to take out the medical insurance as an individual and then pay their own premiums.
