AXA UK&I has today published its Corporate Responsibility Annual Report 2021 which reflects on the ambitious goals set by AXA UK&I in contributing to progress in society, protecting the planet and promoting good health.
The Corporate Responsibility Annual Report 2021 highlights the impact and success that AXA UK&I has had with their corporate responsibility strategy, driven by fostering an open, diverse and responsible culture across the business. At the heart of the business’s corporate responsibility drive are colleagues who are encouraged to volunteer and educate themselves on global and societal issues which impact customers.
The objectives in the report are closely aligned to the AXA For Progress Index which helps all AXA Group entities incorporate sustainable development into everything they do. The report exemplifies the role that AXA UK&I play in supporting people and businesses through their commitment to making progress in society, protecting the planet and promoting good health.
These commitments include increasing the number of customers covered by inclusive, accessible and affordable protection to 12 million by 2023, training all teams in climate issues by 2023 so they can help lead the way on AXA’s green transformation and achieve carbon neutrality by 2025.
Success in 2021 includes the launch of the Climate Academy which is designed to help employees understand the impact of climate change and how it affects the way AXA does business, their customers and the planet. A further achievement is AXA's Week for Good which encourages colleagues to actively be a force for good when it comes to climate protection, the environment and social inclusion.
AXA UK&I’s Corporate Responsibility Report will now be published every year, so that the business can track progress and measure success.
