AXA Health has announced the acquisition of HBSUK, an online outpatient service provider which helps to deliver safe and effective treatment in a fast and efficient way.
As one of the UK’s leading Private Medical Insurers (PMI), the acquisition of HBSUK demonstrates AXA Health’s commitment to providing excellent care to its PMI members and delivering demonstratable value. It will allow AXA Health members to continue to have fast access to the right care, first time.
HBSUK is one of a number of existing external service providers that AXA Health works with to offer consistent, safe and effective care for members in a quick and convenient way. AXA Health will build on the existing relationship and accelerate the development of the online muscles, bones and joints service, which achieves high levels of member satisfaction.
In the future, AXA Health intends to expand the services to allow more choice, flexibility and value. This will help to increase value for members, offer more accessible treatment and support the ambition to provide private healthcare solutions which meet a broader range of customer needs.
HBSUK also offers additional services which help support the NHS, such as out of hours on-site medical and clinical services to bolster service capacity. They are an approved NHS England provider and play a role in reducing wait times for the NHS.
